There is still a chance to purchase one of more than 300 pieces of art on display during a two-day exhibition in a village hall.
The 19th annual Langford and Ulting Art Show is taking place in Langford Village Hall, Langford.
Organiser Christopher Spong said of Saturday's opening: “It was extremely well attended. It’s getting a very good reputation and it’s surprising the distance some people do come to submit their pictures.
“Because it’s now so well-known you get some really very good artists.”
Mr Spong said most of the art typically sells for between £100-£400.
He said: “I think we had 317 entries this year, and once you get over 300 you start getting a bit nervous about where on Earth you are going to put them.
“People like coming here because it’s a very nice setting and the ambience is very good.”
There are also refreshments and art classes available, with all proceeds going to the village hall fund.
