Volunteers are needed when an aerodrome used during the First World War reopens.

Stow Maries Great War aerodrome reopens on Sunday and a number of roles need filling.

Aerodrome manager Russell Savory said: "We are looking for enthusiastic additional volunteers to help around the site.

"These roles include museum attendants, shop assistants, tour guides and The Mess Cafe catering assistants."

Mr Savory is also hoping to recruit a retired chef, who would help with catering for events and for the increasing numbers of bus trips to the site.

Those interested in applying for positions should attend the aerodrome, Hackmans Lane, Purleigh, CM36RN tomorrow, between 10am and 4pm, to find out more.
