FUNDRAISERS tested out a new children's trim trail in front of a cheering crowd of pupils.
Representatives from the Lawford Primary School Parent Teacher Association officially unveiled a new play area to pupils by cutting a ceremonial ribbon.
They then took the first goes on the equipment, which includes climbing equipment, balance bars and traverse bars.
The waiting children (pictured) cheered and clapped as they waited to have their go on the new equipment Year Two pupil, Evan Baldwin said: “The new play area is awesome.”
The PTA has held a string of successful events this year, including the annual Christmas and Summer Fairs, as well as new events, including refreshments at school sports days and making gifts for Mothers’ Day.
Cash from the events goes towards projects like the new play area, which is hoped will last for years to come.
