Dancing queens and a king won nine trophies between them in a weekend.

Earls Colne Primary School Maisie Richardson, ten, Kiana Edwards, eight, and Max Wooldridge, nine, competed in the Camber Sands Freestyle Dance Festival at the weekend.

Their nine trophies were for solos, pairs, rock and roll and street dance.

Maisie and Kiana, who attend Pendrill School of Dance, which runs classes at the school, won second place overall with their rock and roll dance.

Max, formerly of Dynamite School of Dance, was named the under tens supreme dancer.
