STEVI Ritchie’s X Factor dream has come to an end.

The Colchester singer was voted off the hit ITV show this evening.

The former Stanway School pupil did a bizarre Egyptian-themed performance of Elton John’s I’m Still Standing on last night’s show.

It was enough to get him through the weekend’s first elimination last night, which saw Only The Young leave the competition, but not the second.

He was in the bottom two for the second time, and had to perform in the sing off against Andrea Faustini.

Stevi’s mentor Simon Cowell voted to save him, but the other judges Cheryl, Mel B and Louis Walsh voted to save Andrea.

Speaking after the vote Stevi said: “The whole experience for me has been an absolute dream.

“I just want to thank the general public for voting each week.”
