The Great Burnham Bonfire Party is also set to attract hundreds of people on Saturday, November 8.
Unlike most organised displays, members of the public are invited to bring along one or two unopened big fireworks, still in their original packaging, which will then be set off safely.
The free event is staged by St Mary’s Church and gates will be open at 6pm and the bonfire will be lit at 6.30pm with fireworks thereafter.
Refreshments will include hotdogs, beef burgers as well as hot and cold drinks.
Part time church secretary Sherri Mason said: “We had a fantastic display last year.
“I think it went on for about 45 minutes.
“Normally the children come with their sparklers.
“It’s a lovely community feel and the kids absolutely love it.”
