A bit of Brownie magic has helped raise more than £500 for charity.
Girls from the First Gosfield Brownies transformed the Maurice Rowson Hall, in Church Road, Gosfield, into a tea shop last Monday night, selling cakes they had made themselves to raise an outstanding £517 for Great Ormond Street Hospital and Macmillan.
Brown owl Gill Hillman-Crouch said: “The evening has shown our Brownies what can be achieved in their own community with a bit of hard work and some great support."
