A BEAUTY queen who was killed in a car crash has been given a memorial in the village where she grew up – a pub named after her.
Bonnie Hiller, from Tiptree, died in June, aged 27, when her car crashed into a bridge in Kelvedon.
The former Thurstable School pupil’s family have now bought and renamed the Oak Pub, in Oak Road, Tiptree, in her memory.
The Bonnie Blue Oak was relaunched on Friday, which would have been Bonnie’s 28th birthday, and more than 200 people were there to show their support.
