A NEW bingo hall in Harwich has held its grand opening.
The hall, which is thought to be the first in the town in more than 30 years, opened to the public last Friday.
Owner Mike Gibbons converted the former snooker hall, in Kingsway, Dovercourt, into a bingo establishment after the former business was found to be unviable.
Mayor Dave McLeod and mayoress Dee King attended and called the first games.
