UNIVERSITY professors are teaming up with paramedics for a new degree at Anglia Ruskin University.
The three year Paramedic Science course will involve going out on work experience with crews from the East of England Ambulance Service.
This will include shadowing paramedics, manning rapid response vehicles and going into hospitals to see what happens when patients arrive.
Enrolment for the degree which is split between the campuses in Chelmsford and Cambridge opens in September.
Taster days for potential students have been organised with the next one in Chelmsford on Wednesday June 11.
