A CHARITABLE garage worker has taken things a step further in his quest to raise money for Cancer Research – by dressing up as a woman.
Inspired by the no make-up and #manupandmakeup trends Russell Wrycraft, of St Denis Close, Dovercourt, decided to swap his work trousers for a black and pink dress.
The cause is close to his heart with his dad having been recently diagnosed with prostate cancer and his mum suffering from cancer of the bladder.
Russell, who works at Atlas Autos in Mistley, spent last Friday in a dress, blonde wig and a full face of makeup.
He said: “I have already been told I was better looking on Friday."
