LOVE was in the air at a Dovercourt care home and then on the table in the shape of Valentine's Day biscuits and cakes.
Residents at Don Thomspn House Care Home in Low Road spent the morning decorating heart shaped treats for Valentine’s Day.
Jan Watkins, home manager, said: “Valentine’s Day is a time to celebrate not only the love you have for a spouse or partner, but also other loved ones, so our residents have been decorating heart-shaped biscuits to share with their grandchildren and other relatives.
“Our residents are very creative and love baking so we thought what better way to celebrate the day of love than with food straight from the heart.”
