Photo business takes pic of the High Street

A SCHOOL teacher is the latest business owner to move into Dovercourt High Street.

Dave Dare has opened Take Your Pic with his wife Vanessa Dare and will start trading on Saturday, November 10.

The couple, who both work at Harwich and Dovercourt High School, will take photographs of customers for free in the shop before making them available to buy at an affordable price compared to big name stores.

The business will also stock gifts made by local craftsmen. Many used to be found in Home Grown Crafts before the shop had to lose some creators when it changed location from Kingsway to High Street.

Dave, who is a PE teacher at the school, said he was pleased he could fill another High Street unit in the town centre.
