Here at the Essex County Standard we pride ourselves in being first to break all the big local news.

Now we want you, dear reader, to help us stay ahead of the game by becoming our roving reporter newshounds.

If you witness something newsworthy and have captured the moment on a digital camera or mobile phone, we'd like you to send the images and/or video clips in to us.

Just email us at i-witness@nqe.com or send us text, images or video clips from your mobile phone to us on 80360, including the keywords gazette news in the subject area or main body of the message.

If what you send is good enough, we'll use it - either in the newspaper, or online, or in both formats.

Include as many contact details for yourself as you can so we can get in touch with you easily, and remember to make sure you have billpayer's permission first!
