THE snow may have brought misery to motorists but for one couple a new experience blew in on the cold wind.
Adrian Cunningham, 30, from Cairnside, Micklefield, moved to England from Durban, South Africa, two years ago and last Thursday Dec 28 was the first time the Bucks Free Press sales rep had ever seen snow.
Mr Cunningham and his wife Sharon, who is from Cape Town, South Africa, were both green when it comes to the white stuff and the couple spent three hours on The Rye enjoying their first snowball fight.
Mr Cunningham said: "It is brilliant. I think it is fantastic. It is very beautiful and the countryside looks really picturesque, like a postcard.
"To me it brings happiness to everybody everybody is smiling and joyful. I have been playing with my wife in the park for about three hours today. I would rather be in the sun but for someone who has not seen it before it is quite a pleasure."
