PUPILS brought joy to the world by singing carols in High Wycombe town centre to raise money for charity.
Children in the choir of Castlefield School, Middle Way, High Wycombe, went carol singing in the two shopping centres, raising money for children's charities.
The carolling choir first visited the Chiltern Shopping Centre and raised £270 for Save the Children.
Then, on Thursday, December 14, from 11 to noon, it was off to the Octagon, where they sang for shoppers, by the Christmas tree. They raised more than £200 for the Children's Society to help poor and needy children.
Angela Hart, area fundraising manager of the society, said. "It was very good. They raised a lot of money in a short time."
