THAME United star Jefferson Louis has left the first division leaders to join Aylesbury.

The non-contract player turned his back on a United team who are 11 points clear at the top after receiving a better pay deal from an Aylesbury side who are 28 points below them.

Ironically one of Louis' first games for his new club will be the December 30 clash away at Thame.

Before then, United entertain fast improving Leatherhead tomorrow. The Leathers only have ten points but nine of those have come in their last six games. After that, Thame visit Oxford City on Boxing Day.

Marlow and Epsom were due to settle their FA Vase third round tie last night after Tuesday's game in Surrey finished 1-1 after extra time and a floodlight failure. James Pitchard scored Marlow's goal with a penalty and Marlow twice hit the woodwork.
