New chief at U's sports trust

A NEW chief executive has been hired to run Colchester United Community Sports Trust.
The charity gives youngsters the chance to play football, take courses and get involved in activities. It also works with schools to improve children’s health.
Steve Goodsell has been appointed chief executive, taking over from Mike Springett, who retired earlier this year.
He said: "I am particularly excited that in this Olympic and Paralympic year, Colchester United Community Sports Trust can play a key role in the
delivery of sporting, health improvement and education opportunities for all.”
