FIREFIGHTERS had to cut the roof off a car to free a man trapped after a crash in Harwich.
Police, fire and ambulance crews were called to Oakley Road at about 2.30pm following a crash between a Vauxhall Astra and a Volkswagen Golf which overturned.
The driver of the Golf suffered chest injuries but was conscious and breathing when he was cut free and airlifted to Colchester General Hospital.
