Woman left injured after 'hit and run'

A WOMAN was struck by a car as she was getting into a vehicle on Friday.
The 51-year-old was hit by a black Vauxhall Corsa in Greenstead Road, Colchester, near the junction with Harwich Road, at about 8.15pm.
The car, which had three men in it, failed to stop.
The woman sustained injuries, but they are not believed to be life-threatening.
Essex Police are appealing for the men to come forward and for any witnesses, or anyone who thinks they might know something about this incident, to contact PC Alex Black or his colleagues at Stanway police on 101.
