OLYMPIC flags will line Colchester’s Castle Park this summer, if plans get the go ahead.
Colchester Council is hoping to put up the ten colourful banners at the entrance to the park and around the war memorial.
If allowed, the seven metre tall flags, which would bear the logo London 2012, would be put up on June 15 and taken down on September 15.
Colchester Council’s planning department will make a decision by June.
