Drugs raid in Greenstead

OFFICERS have praised the public for helping them combat the war on drugs in Colchester following the fourth drugs raid in ten days.

Police from Colchester raided a home in Gorse Walk, Greenstead and arrested a man in his fifites on suspicion of possession of a class A drug.

Inspector Adrian Dearsley, who runs the neighbourhood policing team in north Colchester, said they will not stop in the fight against drugs and, with community support, will clean up the streets.
