A ROBBER threatened a woman with a six-inch knife.
The terrified victim from Colchester was approached by the man who then punched her in the face and pushed her to the floor.
She dropped her keys which he stole.
He then took then Apple iPhone from her coat pocket, ripping it in the process.
The woman, aged 40, was left shaken but uninjured during Sunday’s attack which happened in Cranborne Close at its junction with Brickmakers Lane, Colchester.
The robber then ran off in the direction of Fellowes Close.
The incident took place between 8.15pm and 8.40pm.
The suspect is described as white, around 6ft tall, wearing a grey hooded top and blue jeans.
He was also clean shaven.
