AN EQUALITY charity is to host a service remembering transgender people killed as a result of prejudice.

The Transgender Day of Remembrance will take place at Outhouse East Colchester, at 7.30pm on Monday.

The LGBT equality charity, on East Hill, will also host a Living My Life photography exhibition.

Charity patron, META magazine editor and transgender campaigner, Paris Lees, will say a few words on the struggle LGBT people face.

Outhouse’s exhibition will run throughout November.

The old see dog says...

So it seems that some people out there are upset at me using one of Larry Graysons catchphrases, all I can say to that is "Get a life and stop throwing your rattles out of the prams! Why is it that these people expect everyone else to sit up and listen and agree with every that they want to say and do but do not want others to say or do anything that they don't like, why do you always think that its alright for you to use these sayings but others cannot? Just remember that Brittan is a free Country and we British have the freedom of speech so get over it and get use to it because it will not change. I dont go kicking and screeming when someone calls me a Brit, Pom or limey. So, before you all start spitting your dummies out and roll about on the floor kicking and screeming saying "Look what they are saying ,I dont like it, do something" I am going to quote another saying that was put all along the side of a bus in big bold leters that travels between Rotherham and Sheffield by one of your groups, the gay loby group "Stonewall" but with one added word.........."Some people are NOT gay, get over it".
