A GOVERNMENT minister has agreed to look into the campaign calling for a change the law.
Cassie’s Law calls for the police to have powers to temporarily seize a driver’s licence if they consider them unfit to drive.
And on a visit to Colchester, Norman Baker, who is the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Transport, said he he would arrange for the petition to be received by the Government.
About 4,000 people have so far signed the petition - and support is continuing to grow.
