Two mothers have joined forces to open their first salon in Eight Ash Green.
Erica Naysmith and Crystal Eaves are looking to open a franchise of Amour Boutiques across the Colchester borough in the next ten years.
The pair have opened their first beauty salon on the corner of Wood Lane and Halstead Road.
Mrs Naysmith, 33, said: “We have worked in beauty for a long time and I just said one day I wanted to open my own salon instead of working for other companies.
“Crystal and I kept saying we wanted to have our first salon open by Christmas and, in the end, we managed it slightly sooner.
“It has been great so far. The support we have had from people in the village is amazing.
“But we are already focusing on opening our next salon in two years’ time. After that, we will focus on opening another, too. We just want to keep going and develop a big business.”
