Best bangers rewarded in national competition

A SAUSAGE-MAKER has scooped awards for his bangers.
Bangers made by Alan Paton, head chef at the Lakes Restaurant, Stoke by Nayland Hotel received a total of seven awards in the BPEX Foodservice Pork Sausage of the Year competition.
The sausages were made in conjunction with Colchester-based firm Proctors Sausages and claimed two gold, four silver and a bronze medal.
