Con-woman paid for goods with fake £20 notes

A BRAZEN con-woman used fake money to buy a mobile phone from a Mersea couple.

Victims, Joanne Edwards, 22, and boyfriend Stephen King, 26, advertised their Samsung Galaxy on the Preloved website.

The woman is described as having dark hair, was short and chubby and wore gold jewellery and a dark track suit.

She drove a black Mercedes that was full of gardening equipment and spoke in an accent that was not local.
