Car crash driver arrested for drink driving

A MAN has been charged with drink driving after his car went off the road and into a ditch.
The accident happened in Church Road, Layer-de-la-Haye, at 2am today.
The passenger in the silver Vauxhall Astra suffered minor head injuries and was taken by ambulance to Colchester General Hospital for treatment.
The driver of the car, a 21-year-old from Colchester, was arrested at the scene and was charged with drink driving.
