Greenstead youngsters tell residents to clear up green spaces
A POSTER campaign backed by community groups and pupils has been launched to try and encourage residents to keep the estate’s green spaces clear.
St Andrew’s Junior School, Voices 4 Greenstead, Firstsite and Colne Housing all took part in artistic project Dog-Jam, which encourages people to stop leaving dog mess on playgrounds and fields.
Youngsters at the school, helped by Firstsite artist Lawrence Bradby, have now created an array of posters which will be dotted around Greenstead to get the message out
The winning designs have been printed on A4 signs and will be on display for the next six months.

Nice to see something positive and people taking pride in where they live.
So congratulations to everyone taking part.
Greenstead and Colchester could be a really great place to live if everyone took a little bit of pride in where they live and did their bit.
