Expert to speak on Colchester's hidden gem

EXPERT Dr William McVicker is to give a talk on Colchester’s hidden gem.
Dr McVicker, who is the organ curator at London's Royal Festival Hall, is acting as Colchester Council’s consultant on its bid for Heritage Lottery funding for the Moot Hall organ.
The first stage of the council’s lottery bid was successful and it was granted £16,500 to prepare the next stage of its application.
Dr McVicker, who described the historic organ as “Colchester’s hidden gem” will speak at the Friends of the Moot Hall Organ annual general meeting on November 15 in the mayoral suite at Colchester Town Hall.
