A CHARITY-RUN cafe used by community groups in Colchester has been forced to close due to cash woes.
The CO1 cafe in the Holy Trinity Church, Trinity Street, shut its doors last week saying it was no longer financially viable.
As well as being a meeting place for the public and other community groups, the youth charity also ran events such as vintage sales
In a statement on the cafe’s website Simon Taylor, chairman of Youth Culture Limited, said: “We have been immensely proud of what we have achieved in the last two years through our collaboration with GO4 Enterprises and other agencies we have been able to provide meaningful opportunities for young people to develop new skills and belief in themselves."
