Lifesavers called to run aground boat

SAILORS became stranded when their boat ran aground.
Harwich RNLI were called to the Tantrum of Hamble yacht on Sunday, October 14, at around 4.30pm after receiving a call two people were stuck near the Shotley spit.
The lifeboat crew pulled the vessel clear of the shallow water and checked for damage before allowing the sailors to continue up the harbour unaided.
