Flair hair salon in Elmstead Market raises hundreds for Essex cancer charity

HAIRDRESSERS turned a shade of pink for a cancer charity fundraiser.

Staff at Flair hair salon in Elmstead Market dressed the village’s Community Centre in pink to raise funds for breast cancer services at Essex County Hospital.

The Clacton Road hairdressers, Elmstead Market, raised £978 on the day but hope to top the coffers up to £1,000 when they sell the last raffle prizes.

More than 100 prizes were donated and hair salon customers dressed in pink to take part in other fundraising activities including guessing the weight of the cake and guess the name of the teddy bear.
