Call for emergency help from lone sailor

A SOLO sailor needed emergency help when his yacht broke down.
West Mersea RNLI inshore lifeboat headed to the 16ft yacht with South Woodham Coastguard just after 8.15pm on Saturday, October 13.
The boat, R.Blackwater, had a broken rudder when sailing off Osea island. West Mersea RNLI towed it safely to Maldon.
