I feel so sorry for the lady. I just seen in the main paper the dogs have all been returned to the owner as he has refused to have them put down. This is unbelievable.

Staffies are nasty dogs and usually the owners the same. I have small dogs too but make sure I always have the means with me to kill an attacking dog if necessary.

Staffies aren't all nasty dogs, it's the idiots like the man in the paper that's allowed to own them that give them a bad name. All dogs are capable of being like that if they're taught.

The sentences should be harsher for the man who's dogs they are, they should have been pts and are a danger to the public. Feel so sorry for the people involved, I couldn't imagine it with my own dogs.

As an owner of a small dog i cant comprehend this happening to me. I should imagine witnessing that will stay with the owner forever. My heart goes out to the lady and dog concerned.

Can I just say my youngest dog is scared to go out at the moment because three weeks ago he was attacked by a Golden Retriever, my dog was screaming which was a horrible noise to hear. Its not just Staffies, they are just the breed that get the worst press, its the owners, a certain kind, who are to blame not the breed of dog they have.
