Little Ellie looked 'teddy-where' for Doggy

LITTLE Ellie Reagan couldn't bear to be without her best friend, Doggy.

After a trip to Grove Park, in Tiptree, the two-year-old realised her favourite teddy had gone missing.

When mum Kyla Behan could not find the teddy, she asked for help on Facebook site Buy, Sell or Swap Tiptree.

After a village-wide search, four days later, on Monday, she was contacted by the Grove Park keeper, who had found Doggy on the roof of his building and that his ear was in the middle of the field.

“I couldn’t believe the response I received from the mummies of Tiptree,” said Miss Behan, of Station Road, Tiptree, who gave Ellie the teddy when she was six months old.

“When I heard, I went straight there to pick him up.

“He was soaking wet, muddy, missing his ear and had a smashed eye.”

Miss Behan, 23, quickly patched up the patient and put him in the washing machine before reuniting him with his best friend.

“She has not put him down since,” she added.

“I think she will always want to have him there.”

This story is actually about a community coming together to help find a little girls missing doggy. Now day communities dont help each other. You obviously havent read the story properly, For once it is a HAPPY story not about stabbings, burglary or crime.. Its about a 2 YEAR OLD that lost her teddy & yes its a doggy but its a teddy dog....
My child has no issues she is 2 years old and loves her teddy, you people that are commenting obviously do not have children as most children have a favorite toy and are devestated if they loose it.
And Boris as you can see from the picture the ear is on the teddys head is stiched back on, it has a plaster aound it. you try telling a 2 year old that some other children ripped her favorite toys ear off. So we had to tell her a story as to not upset her.
I thought the people of Tiptree especially as most of them were mummies with young children that helped look for doggy would like to hear the story.
so you can take your nasty comments somewere else.
Ellie has NO issues shes just a child that lost her teddy at the park and is happy again
If you dont like it go and comment on another story.

Well done Kyla. You have just written more or less what I wanted to say. The story was about the way Tiptree locals helped to make a little girl happy again and to prove that there are some lovely people still about.
Thank goodness not everybody are like the miserable people that have commented about this article

Yes, lighten up, people! Look, if you wanna moan about the the 50% price rise, OK. But let's be pleased some people helped out, and little Ellie got her 'teddy' (I can have pedantic tendencies, but I can accept that as a generic term for a kids' cuddly toy) back.
