POLICE And firefighters are investigating after two fires in the same block of flats.

Firefighters were called to Gothic House, a Colchster Council controlled property twice in the early hours of this morning.

The second fire destroyed a flat and is being treated as suspicious.

It is the latest in a series of problems at the flats which are used as emergency accommodation.

maybe im wrong...but if ive got my bearings right...isnt this property usually let to single mothers ( much like a womens refuge ) who will normally have disgruntled men in the background ? humble apologises if im wrong.
