Business group encourages take up of broadband survey
2:00pm Friday 5th October 2012 in News
A BUSINESS group is encouraging residents and businesses to complete a survey to prove the need for high speed broadband in the county.
Essex Federation of Small Business says high-speed internet will allow companies to be more efficient.
David Miles, Essex FSB chairman, said: ”I would urge all business people and householders to complete the simple survey.
“This will allow Essex County Council to make a stronger case for faster delivery of the broadband provision that is so desperately needed to enable businesses and households to fully enter the digital age.
“At present the broadband provision in Essex varies between a fast service to none at all with rural areas hardest hit.”
