Car flips over on slippery road in Tendring

A WOMAN had to be cut from her car after flipping the vehicle onto its side on a slippery stretch of road.
The black Toyota Yaris slid off Heath Road in Tendring village before rolling onto its side.
Firefighters had to be called to cut the driver out of the car and she was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
It happened at about 5.40pm on Friday.
While emergency services were at the scene the cab of a lorry also left the same stretch of road due to the slippery conditions.
Police closed the road so the vehicles could be recovered and the road could be cleaned of surface mud, which is believed to have caused the problem.
