But due to a change in the law which comes into effect today (Monday) the pub, in Castle Road, Colchester, no longer needs a licence and is bringing back live music.

Good news. Success to the Foresters Arms, and to all other Colchester pubs.

Good news indeed. Just don't upset the neighbours and all will be well.

Fantastic news about The Foresters, first that it has survived these last months without music but with the support of a huge majority of its neighbours and secondly that it can now continue with its music programme. This consisted of mainly accustic bands or individuals, being listened to by regulars, neighbours and visitors and it has been greatly missed by all who enjoy the local music scene.
