A car smashed into a garage in Oak Road, Rivenhall.

The Renault Clio left the A12 slip and careered into the a garage today at 3.35pm.

It is understood the driver freed herself but firefighters were called because smoke was coming from the car.

The driver did not need treatment.

The crash caused tailbacks on the Colchester-bound A12.

The owners of this house have only just had the wall rebuilt from the last vehicle that ploughed in to it. It's about the 4th time in the last 3 years. i wonder if they think it's time to move..........

Seems to me that it's beyond an incipient trend -- it's become a "career" careening into the garage ... Useless Brainless and Witless staff! LOL

(Maybe THEY ought to get out before they've 'careered' themselves into a useless corner from which they can't escape. Learning english might be a good start.)
