Traffic chaos across Tendring in Dovercourt, Harwich, Weeley, A12, East Bergholt and Ardleigh
9:51am Wednesday 26th September 2012 in News By Helen Barnett
TRAFFIC chaos has hit drivers travelling across the district.
High Street in Dovercourt remains closed by Orwell Road after a fire in derelict shops in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Police and Tendring Council closed the road after establishing the shops were too dangerous to the public and needed to be torn down.
The closure means cars must drive to the A120 to travel between the towns and the restricted access is thought to be in place for the majority of today. Pedestrians still have access.
Meanwhile an accident on the A12 near East Bergholt has caused delays from junction 31 to junction 29 at Ardleigh. The accident has been cleared.
Two accidents in Weeley has lead to the A133 being closed in both directions at Weeley services roundabout.
An accident involving two vehicles just south of the roundabout is blocking the road near the Rectory Road bridge.

Smells of arson with a view to an insurance claim.
