October programme revealed for Wivenhoe film group

THREE films across the genres make up the October schedule at a Wivenhoe movie group.
Moving Image begins the month on Saturday October 6 with a screening of 2 Days in New York.
The 15-rated film was written by, directed and stars Julie Delpy as the French photographer girlfriend to talk radio host and journalist Mingus, played by Chris Rock. The couple's Manhattan lifestyle is thrown into disarray by a French family visit.
An independent film features the following week with a screening of Moonrise Kingdom on Saturday, October 13, with director Wes Anderson telling the story of two young lovers who run away together from their parents and Scout master. The film is rated 12A.
The month’s programme ends on October 20 with Woody Allen - A Documentary with director Robert Weide gaining unprecedented access to the iconic star’s life. The film is rated 15.
All screenings take place at the Phillip Road centre from 8pm. Tickets cost members £4.50, non-members £6.00, students/children £2.50.
