Dovercourt: Fire breaks out in disused building

FIREFIGHTERS have been battling a blaze at a derelict building.

Crews were called to Orwell Road, Dovercourt, shortly before 2am and found the two-storey building well alight.

Six crews were on the scene at the height of the incident.

The fire was out by 3.30am but crews returned to the scene at 6.30am to ensure the area was safe.

The cause of the fire is unknown.
