WOMEN are being urged to grab their last chance to enter Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life in Colchester.
A total of 3,266 runners have signed up to take part in the women-only events which are being held at 11am and 2pm on Sunday September 30 in Lower Castle Park.
The event was due to be held in July but torrential rain left the course waterlogged and organisers were forced to postpone the race.
Now they are hoping for better conditions - and hope even more women will take part and raise funds to fight cancer.
Registration for the Race for Life has been extended to September 27 and there are still spaces for the afternoon race.
