Two men robbed at knifepoint in Colchester

CYCLISTS have been robbed at knifepoints in copycat attacks in Colchester.
 

Detectives are appealing for information following two incidents in Colchester which are believed to be connected.
 

The first happened on a footpath between the Cowdray Centre and Colchester North Station at about 8.45pm on Monday,September 10.

The second incident happened at about 8.10pm on Wednesday, September 13, on a footpath in Highwoods Country Park, near Thornton Drive.


The man is thought to be eastern European and is about 5ft 9in tall.
 

He was wearing a hooded top and some sort of mask over his face.

Just a wild stab in the dark (no pun intended) but perhaps he spoke to the victims Wellnow? If only to make a menacing demand for cash maybe?
The assumed nationality of the assailant comes from the accent, surely.
