£10,000 bid for Colchester's St Botolph's Quarter
2:03pm Monday 17th September 2012 in News
RESIDENTS and businesses will join forces to celebrate Colchester’s St Botolph’s Quarter’s past and figure out its future if a government grant is won.
Colchester failed in a bid to become a Portas Pilot town, set up by the government and the shopping guru to try and save the nation’s High Streets.
Now, Colchester Council and the Creative Co-op, backed by town MP Sir Bob Russell, have applied for £10,000 to help kickstart the regeneration of the St Botolph’s Quarter.
