£10,000 bid for Colchester's St Botolph's Quarter

RESIDENTS and businesses will join forces to celebrate Colchester’s St Botolph’s Quarter’s past and figure out its future if a government grant is won.

Colchester failed in a bid to become a Portas Pilot town, set up by the government and the shopping guru to try and save the nation’s High Streets.

Now, Colchester Council and the Creative Co-op, backed by town MP Sir Bob Russell, have applied for £10,000 to help kickstart the regeneration of the St Botolph’s Quarter.
