Granny set to abseil for punch victim brother

A GREAT-granny is abseiling down Colchester’s Town Hall on her 70th birthday.

Laurel Tripp-Clarke, of Prettygate, will a fear of heights to complete the feat at 11.30am on Friday.

She is doing it in memory of her brother, Kevin Tripp, who died four years ago.

The father-of-one was killed, aged 57, in a case of mistaken identity after being punched while standing in a queue at a London Sainsbury’s.

Mrs Tripp-Clarke hopes to raise awareness for charity Support after Murder and Manslaughter.
