Sex assault in Colchester town centre

A WOMAN was sexually assaulted in Colchester town centre.
Police are appealing for information after the woman was attacked in Vineyard Street between 3am and 4am yesterday.
The woman, aged in her 20s, was approached by a man who then assaulted her.
She managed to break free and run back along Queen Street to safety.
PC Rachel Evemy said: "The victim was visibly upset when she ran along Queen Street after the incident and states she ran past people who may have seen her.
“We are asking anyone who was in the area at the time or who saw a woman upset around this time to contact us.”
